About Us
Yellow Ink Publishing Company is an indie publisher that publishes true stories, well told. The aim is to give opportunities and a platform for talented authors in a variety of genres a voice in the world. Through Yellow Ink Stain, the company’s southern literary magazine premiering in print and digital formats in January 2026, we aim to create more space for emerging and established voices to speak their truth about their experiences in the Southeast and with Southerners. In an endeavor to support independently published authors and authors who the company does not represent, Yellow Ink offers a variety of courses and editorial services provided by our talented team.

Yellow Ink Stain
Yellow Ink Stain is Yellow Ink Publishing Company’s literary magazine devoted to continuing Yellow Ink’s priority of publishing true stories, well told. The magazine publishes memoir, creative nonfiction, upmarket and genre fiction, poetry, and photography. The magazine aims to give a platform to emerging and established authors of various skill levels who have stories about living in the South, visiting the South, or interacting with someone from the South. Through contests and other efforts, our aim is to help authors grow their audiences and build platforms, which will support their future publication aspirations.
